A solid portfolio demonstrating your work and passion for Character Art with an excellent understanding of Character Art fundamentals.To succeed in this role, we believe you have effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback with a friendly, helpful, and collaborative mindset in a team-based environment. You will also take part in the project planning, helping the Leads & Producers with task estimates when needed, and participate in feedback sessions with your fellow artists as well as providing feedback for outsourcing.
You will communicate your ongoing progress and your ideas to your lead and Art Director, while also assisting in documenting the processes throughout development. Your main work duties consist of gathering references for new assets while ensuring historical accuracy, creating blend shapes and assisting in the skinning of character assets, implementing assets through the use of our in-house scripting language, and keeping an eye out for consistency and readability in your own and other's work. You will work collaboratively with the rest of the art team to develop and set the new standard for character art in Crusader Kings 3! You will work on creating new assets with a focus on historical accuracy, You will work on characters, clothes, armor, weapons, and everything in between.
